What remedies are available when a bid protest is sustained?
Regardless of where you file your protest action, the best you should expect is the correction of the alleged deficiency and to receive another chance to submit a proposal and receive a fair evaluation.

The GAO regulations provide that the GAO may recommend that agencies take the following corrective action:

Refrain from exercising options under the contract;

Terminate the contract;

Open the contract to a new competition;

Issue a new solicitation;

Award a contract consistent with statute and regulation; or

Such other recommendation(s) as GAO determines necessary to promote compliance.
