What remedies are available when a bid protest is sustained? |

Regardless of where you file your protest action, the best you should expect is the correction of the alleged deficiency and to receive another chance to submit a proposal and receive a fair evaluation.
The GAO regulations provide that the GAO may recommend that agencies take the following corrective action:
Refrain from exercising options under the contract;
Terminate the contract;
Open the contract to a new competition;
Issue a new solicitation;
Award a contract consistent with statute and regulation; or
Such other recommendation(s) as GAO determines necessary to promote compliance. |
