| A word of caution is in order concerning complaints to regulatory agencies. Rarely does any corrective action or remedy occur as a result of an individual complaint. A complaint to a regulatory agency is not a substitute for appeal or grievance as provided or required in the policy or plan nor is it a substitute for other legal remedies that might be available, such as a lawsuit. |
