What does the government charge for trademark registration filings?

National Trademark Registration Fees
As of 2010, the filing fees for a trademark are as follows:
Application for Registration: $375
Filing an Amendment: $100
Filing an Extension: $150
Renewal Application: $400
Madrid Trademark Registration Fees
The Madrid Protocol can be used for international patent applications in the applicable countries.
Correction of deficiencies: $100
Trademark Registration Fees in Other International Countries
Any country that is not in the Madrid Protocol will have its own set of fee schedules available on its government's website. In general, anticipate an average of $1,500 for the complete trademark registration application process, including attorney’s fees.
